Squamous Cell Carcinoma Arising from in a Benign Cystic Teratoma

Abstract
|
|
|
Malignant transformation in benign cystic teratomas of the ovaries is rare inci-dence with about 1 to 3 percent in literature. The most frequent element of malignant neoplastic tissue in the dermoid cyst is squamous epithelium with moderate differentiation.
we report a case of malignant change in a benign cystic teratoma accompanying panperitonitis due to rupture of the cyst and a brief review of the literatures was submitted.
